On June 11, 2023, the Vatican officially launched preparations for the 2025 Jubilee Year, an extraordinary time of grace, renewal, and spiritual growth for the Catholic Church. Pope Francis announced the theme, “Pilgrims of Hope,”The Jubilee Year will begin on December 8, 2024, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, and continue until December 8, 2025, inviting Catholics worldwide to embark on a transformative journey of faith.
The theme, “Pilgrims of Hope,” highlights the Church’s call to journey together in faith amid the challenges of today’s world. Hope, as Pope Francis often emphasizes, is a central pillar of Christian life, sustaining believers as they navigate uncertainty, conflict, and change.
This Jubilee invites Catholics to become witnesses of hope, offering the light of Christ to a world in need. It encourages solidarity, acts of charity, and a renewed commitment to living the Gospel in daily life.
